Our verdict
This new American Airlines mid-tier card between Select Platinum ($99) AND Executive ($595) versions. The 90,000-mile bonus is the main draw here, and since it runs on a separate timeline than other Citi AAdvantage cards, everyone will be eligible to get the card now. If you can get Platinum Select, that’s probably a better deal to save on the $350 annual fee.
In the long run, the $350 fee is hard to justify as a concierge card. I suppose it could make sense for the right traveler who will maximize the benefits. We will add this to the our list of the best credit card bonuses.
