JetBlue Premier adds BlueHouse access (cardholder + one guest)

Barclays & JetBlue recently announced new benefits for the JetBlue Premier card AND have launched those benefits and a 100,000 point bonus. One thing that was not mentioned was access to JetBlue BlueHouse Lounges (currently JFK Terminal 5 only). A second location will open at Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) in Terminal C this summer with a full kitchen. Not sure if any other lounges are planned (if you know, let us know in the comments below).

Premier Cardholders (primary and authorized user) now receive free access to this lounge for themselves and up to one guest each if flying on an eligible JetBlue itinerary (ie cannot fly another airline and have access to this lounge). Basic blue fees are excluded. Remember that authorized users cost $150.

The full terms are as follows:

Complimentary access to BlueHouse Lounges at participating airport locations is available at no additional charge to Prime Cardmembers and authorized users at eligible JetBlue rates, subject to space availability, operational capacity and BlueHouse terms and conditions. Premier Card Members and authorized user(s) must present a valid JetBlue Premier World Elite Mastercard at check-in; they and each guest must also present a government-issued photo ID and a same-day boarding pass for a JetBlue-operated flight.Primary Card Members and authorized users traveling on Blue Basic Fare are not entitled to free access.Primary Card Members and authorized users traveling on a basic blue fare are not entitled to free access. Primary Card Members and authorized users must be at least 18 years of age unless accompanied by an adult. Prime Card Members and authorized users can each bring 1 free guest per visit at no additional charge. Additional guests may be accepted for a fee payable with the JetBlue Premier World Elite Mastercard at check-in, subject to availability. To apply the benefit, your card account must be open at the time of air travel. This benefit cannot be combined with other BlueHouse lounge access benefits to which you may also be entitled (for example, access with Mosaic status, a membership or a Mint ticket). In the event that you change JetBlue Mastercard products prior to air travel, you will no longer be eligible to receive this benefit. JetBlue reserves the right to restrict lounge access due to capacity limitations or non-compliance with BlueHouse lounge policies. JetBlue reserves the right to modify, suspend or terminate the BlueHouse lounge access benefit at any time without prior notice. For more information visit jetblue.com/bluehouse.
