Early account termination fee

They used to charge a fee for early account termination, but this is no longer charged. Account must be kept open for 90 days and then within 14 days of the bonus being posted

• Update: When you click it says $15,000 deposits must be held for 90 days. This significantly worsens the deal.

Our verdict

Sometimes it is possible to get Target Bonuses $350 No Direct Deposit Requirement (and sometimes these are sold on eBay too) but this is the best public bonus they offer. We don’t usually see the $600 bonus and it looks like you only need to make $25,000 in total deposits instead of depositing $25,000 at once. Keep in mind the $25 monthly fee, but it might make sense to go for the $600 bonus and just pay a few months of $25 fees. If I lived within the target area, I would definitely go for this bonus as no direct deposit is required. It’s kind of a hassle to keep the account fee free even on the $200 bonus, but you can just absorb the $5/$25 monthly fee or close the account (after bonus posts, minimum 90 days) if you don’t want to park $5,000/$25,000 (better to put that money in a high interest account in my opinion).
