Chase is offering increased sign-up bonuses on the Southwest Plus, Premier and Priority cards:
- Southwest Priority ($229 fee): Earn 90,000 points after spending $3,000 on purchases in the first 3 months of account opening.
- Southwest Premier ($149 fee): Earn 85,000 points after spending $2,000 in purchases in the first 3 months of account opening.
- Southwest Plus ($99 fee): Earn 80,000 points after spending $1,000 on purchases in the first 3 months of account opening.
The offers are valid until 01.07.26 through the public link and 7/6/26 via referral link.
Card details
- Annual fees are NO gave up the first year: Plus is $99, Premier is $149, Priority is $229.
- The card earns the following fees:
- 2x/3x/4x Plus/Premier/Priority points for every $1 you spend on Southwest Airlines purchases
- 2x points for every $1 you spend at Rapid Rewards hotel and car partners
- 2x points per $1 spent on local transportation and commuting, including ridesharing
- 2x points per $1 spent on internet, cable, phone services and streaming selections
- 1x points for every $1 you spend on everyday purchases
- Special fees for specific cards:
- Plus: 2X at gas stations and grocery stores on the first $5,000 in combined purchases per year.
- Premier: Earn 2 points for every $1 you spend at grocery stores and restaurants on your first $8,000 in purchases combined in an anniversary year.
- Priority: Earn 2X at gas stations and restaurants
- First checked baggage free. Cardmembers and up to 8 additional passengers on the same reservation can check their first bag at no additional cost. (Since Southwest no longer offers free checked bags for everyone, they added it as a perk for cardholders.)
- There are no foreign transaction fees on all 3 cards
- Cardmembers and up to 8 passengers on the same booking will board with Group 5 giving them earlier access to the overhead bins.
- Seat selection within 48 hours prior to departure when available. For the Plus card it is for a Standard seat. For Premier and Priority and for both business cards it is for standard or preferred seating.
- Get 25% back on in-flight purchases
- Plus and Premier receive 2 early registrations per year
- Premier Card receives 15% Flight Discount each year on the cardmember’s anniversary (Excludes base fee); The Plus card benefits from a 10% discount.
- Premier and Priority earn 1,500 Tier Qualifying Points toward A-list status for every $10,000 spent, with no limit on the amount of TQPs you can earn
- The Premier Personal Card earns an annual bonus of 6,000 points; Plus earn 3,000 bonus anniversary points; Priority earns 7500 anniversary bonus
- Plus and Premier personal and business cards get a new benefit of 2 early sign-ups per year
- The Priority Card gets: Choice of preferred seats in reservation when available Upgrade to seats with extra legroom within 48 hours prior to departure when available Earn 2,500 Tier Qualifying Points toward A-list status for every $5,000 spent annually.
- All cards (except Plus personal and Plus business) earn 1,500 tier-qualifying points toward A-list status for every $10,000 spent, with no limit on the amount of TQPs you can earn.
- All cards (except Performance Business) get 25% back on in-flight purchases.
- Southwest credit cardholders receive 10,000 qualifying miles for the Companion Pass, which reduces their total miles needed to receive the pass from 135,000 to 125,000

Our verdict
We once had these cards in 100 thousand in 2025AND usually 85k is the biggest we’ve seen. And so these offers are nice offers and the Plus/Premier cards have lower spending thresholds. These offers are also available through the referral link, which can extend it to someone in 2-player mode.
That said, the timing here is not necessarily optimal in the direction of obtaining the attendant’s permit as long as possible, but still something to consider.
