US Department of Education DESIGNATED that federal student loan borrowers enrolled in self-pay will be eligible for a 1 percent interest rate reduction. Previously the discount was 0.25% and now it has increased to 1%.
Borrowers who register with Autopage by September 30, 2026, or who are already registered, will benefit from the interest rate reduction until June 30, 2028.
