The cost of membership is $65 for regular Gold Star membership or $130 for Executive membership.

Our verdict
Great deal new Costco members. Usually the deals we’ve seen on Costco memberships include Groupon or similar, and it’s a little easier with a direct Costco deal.
Some may prefer to buy it on Groupon to use Groupon Bucks/gift cards or to use a shopping portal.
