  • Hudson River Community Credit Union (HRCCU) offers a $150 bonus when you open a new checking or savings account and meet the following requirements:
    • Do at least $500 in qualified direct deposits within 90 days (use the routing number 221375132 and your account number to set up direct deposit)
    • Sign up Electronic statements and online banking
    • Activate yours debit card

  • The new member cannot be a joint owner on another account nor have any existing HRCCU accounts.
    Bonus/Account Information: Offer not available to existing HRCCU members or those whose accounts have been closed within 90 days or closed with a negative balance.
  • To claim the $250 bonus: 1) Open a checking or savings account, subject to approval; 2) Make 4 purchases with the HRCCU Visa ® Debit Card within 60 days; AND 3) Make your direct deposit into this account within 60 days. Our verdict

Seems like a good deal if it’s a soft withdrawal and you can easily change your payroll or they aren’t as strict about direct deposit requirements. We need more information before we can decide whether to add it to list of the best check bonuses so please share your data points in the comments below.
