Citi has announced that cardholders who do not receive a 1:1 transfer fee on JetBlue will no longer see it as an option starting September 20, 2026. Affected cardholders see the following message:
Important Update: JetBlue will no longer be a point transfer option effective September 20, 2026. This change will not affect previous JetBlue point transfer transactions.
Affected cards include (basically anything with no annual fee):
- Citi Double Cash
- CardCiti Cash on order
- Citi Rewards+ Card
- Citi Card Strata Card
Citi last made changes to jetBlue transfer fees in September 2018 with increased fees. Hopefully this doesn’t mean the rate will change from 1:1 for cardholders with an annual fee.
