Some changes and updates to the system Bilt 2.0:
- On authorized Bilt user cards, you can now choose whether your points and Bilt Cash earned go to the primary cardholder or authorized user. It used to always go to the primary cardholder, and now they’re giving the option to choose. This can be useful for a couple to have strategic points/Cash go to the higher status Bilt member for transfer bonus purposes. (Don’t forget the $50-$95 fees on authorized user cards.)
- Bilt added a clause in the terms that allows them to return annual hotel credits ($50-$200) if you close the account within 90 days. It is not known whether they will enforce this, but it creates a concern.
- A reader says they are seeing Bilt Cash renamed to Bilt Credits. Let us know if you see this too.
