Check your Capital One Shopping and Capital One Offers home page and email (login) for a Giftcards.com offer:
- Get 6% or 7% or 8% back on Visa/Mastercard and Gift of College gift cards
- Get 7.5% or 8.5% or 9.5% back on most other brands
- Gas, grocery, convenience store and One4All have a lower rate of 5-5.5%.
I’m seeing the lowest amounts on my Capital One Shopping homepage and the highest amounts via the email offer. I then received a separate email with a link to the 8%/9.5% offers. Capital One Offers is also likely to have a similar deal.
Our verdict
Good deal on gift card purchases. As always, keep this in mind Capital One Shopping Portal does not require you to have a Capital One card or bank account. Also remember that rewards are not cash, but the opposite they redeem as gift cards for various brands.
