Our verdict
A lot of people are seeing this offer — not sure if it’s showing up for everyone in the Venmo app or if it’s intended to select users via email. 2% anywhere is not very exciting, but 6% and 4% can be interesting, e.g. if you spend a lot at restaurants or grocery stores, you can get 6% on that top category with no limit for nearly 7 months with no apparent limit.
