I’m not sure why you need a calculator to calculate your baggage fees with JetBlue. JetBlue is claiming that these fares are being increased because they are used by select customers and this would allow them to keep their fares competitive. In reality, this is just a way to increase revenue due to high fuel costs. The good thing about this for the airlines is that when fuel prices go down, there will be no expectation that they will lower these fees. Generally, when one airline raises baggage fees, others quickly follow suit. For example, in 2024 JetBlue, United and American Airlines all raised fares.
