Our verdict
The last savings bonus was for $450 and same/similar requirements. The savings account earns 3.05% APY when you have a balance of $25,000+. You want to add funds by the end of the offer period (June 30) to reduce the amount of time you need to keep them there. If you measure it perfectly it’s 92 days, but it’s more likely closer to 100 days to be sure. The savings portion then ends up being an additional ~4.38% amortized for a total return of ~7.43%, which is better than standard savings rates and you also get an extra $300 if you do the checking and savings bonuses.
This is one of the best Ameriprise bonuses we’ve seen and will continue to add to it best bank account bonus sites. Damaged for elections with nationwide bank bonuses recently.
