Alaska Airlines is the latest airline to announce that it is increasing baggage fees. The price increases as follows:
- First checked bag: $45 (was $40)
- Second checked bag: $55 (was $55)
- Third+ Checked Account: $150 (was $200)
They are also taking away the $5 discount if you prepaid for the bags. JetBlue was the first to raise fares, followed by United then Delta, Southwest AND American Airlines.
