Our verdict
This new $400 + annual fee waived offer is the best ever, and they give 6 months to spend which makes it easy. This offer is for E*Trade or Morgan Stanley clients only. I wrote in the past that you should be able to get this bonus even if you previously got the regular favorite blue money bonus, as this is a special co-branded product. This version of the card also has the benefit of a $100 statement credit, though many people won’t want to spend $15,000 on the card (see also this comment).
Prior to this offer, The best bonus we previously saw on the Blue Cash Preferred card was $350 + annual fee waived (although there was one $200 + $200 off Amazon available and a Offer on home furnishing up to $500).
Reader David points out that this sign-up bonus isn’t limited to life and should work even for someone who signed up for the card a year ago initially. We will add it to our list best credit card sign up bonuses
