Update 7/14/26: The 200k offer is now the standard offer on the AmEx website and google search, etc. To repeat: this is for ‘up to 200,000’. In practice, you’ll see what they offer after you’ve made the initial pitch (no strong appeal) and then you can decide whether to continue.

Our verdict
This is a great offer if you can show it off. People are talking about certain referral links being 200k, but in reality I think it may depend more on the user using the link opener (depending on location, etc).
