This is not new (Chuck posted about it in 2023) but it seems some people aren’t aware, but Bank of America is offering $175 savings when you spend $1,500 within three months. Interestingly it seems that these offers are being extended to cards with no annual fee and the chatbot is able to extend the storage offer.
- Ask the chatbot to close the credit card
- Go through the steps until you see the offer OR it says submit (submitting will close the card)
We have a post about storage deals and tips, although it’s 11 years old so maybe it needs an update. Before closing any card, it’s always a good idea to see if you can get a savings offer.
