I believe everyone is seeing this offer now. I see it on the main page and by email. YMMV.
If one has no use for credit, they would do very well to go through the portal and try to find a ticket that ends up being around $150 after all fees. Even without using the ticket, hopefully the Capital One portal will track properly and you’ll end up with 40% of the base ticket price (could be around $50) in portal rewards. Of course, it’s even better if you have a ticket you’re interested in or can gift to a friend.
