Some Chase cardholders have reported seeing a price matching feature on their Chase Travel accounts. If you qualify, a “Price Match Guarantee” banner will appear below the portal. Currently only available to select Chase Sapphire Reserve personal and business accounts and on hotel reservations. To qualify, the following rules must be followed:
- The request was submitted within 24 hours
- Same property, date, room type, bed type, number of guests, currency, cancellation policy, refund rules
- The claim must include: screenshot of the prize, the domain of the website where it is viewed
- The overnight difference must be $5 or more
The price match is important since the Reserve card comes with a $300 annual travel credit. It will be interesting to see if this is rolled out to all reserve card holders and lower tier cards as well.
