Avoidance of fees

Chase Total Business Checking com has no monthly fee when you maintain a minimum daily balance of $2,000 or more. Otherwise, a monthly service fee of $15 will apply.

Other ways to waive the fee:

  • Minimum daily balance $2,000
  • $2,000 in net purchases on your Chase Ink® business card(s)
  • $2,000 in deposits from Chase QuickAccept℠ or other eligible Chase Payment Solutions transactions
  • Link a Chase Private Client Checking℠ account
  • Provide qualifying evidence of military status

Reports indicate that Chase typically waives the fee for the first two months.

Our verdict

The $750 bonus is the same as the public bonusbut usually $500 bonus is only $300 and usually no $1500 bonus. Funds you only need to sit on the Chase Business Checking Account for 31 days (day 31 – day 60) instead of the full 60 days. If you have earned $100,000 in one account 5% APY you’d earn $424, so that’s only a small improvement over the $750 bonus (though you have to compare that to $80,000 in a 5% APY account to calculate the difference between the two). We will not add this to ours the best bank bonuses as is the target.
