Chase Ink Plus is removing office supply stores as a 5x earnings category starting October 1, 2026. This card is no longer available to new applicants, but many readers have this card. It looks like the 5x profit in office supply stores will be replaced by 5x in shipping. This is based on e-mails sent to cardholders. I haven’t seen the full e-mail so not sure if it could just be a mistake or not (if you got it send it to (email protected)).
Even for people who like shipping as a category, you’re out of luck if you don’t keep your existing card as it’s no longer possible to change your product to Ink Plus. The question is also whether we will see other Ink cards lose 5x in office supply stores in the future.
