YESTERDAY Citi stopped allowing new applications for the Citi Personalized Money Card. At the time, I just assumed this meant you could no longer change an existing Citi card to the Citi Custom Cash card, but for now at least that’s not the case: 1, 2, 3.
I wouldn’t count on this continuing to be available, so if you’re procrastinating or don’t believe the rumors and want to trade an existing card, I’d recommend doing so right away. Citi allows product changes via chat.
