List of all Chase Pay Yourself Back card categories (Aeroplan, Southwest, United, Marriott)

Chase has slowly rolled out the Pay Yourself Back (PYB) feature on many of their cards, which allows points to be redeemed to offset select fees. of The Sapphire Reserve is the main one that people use a lotand there are some others with some benefits.

  1. Follow up Airplane card PYB is 1.25 cents per point Travel purchases (limited to 200 thousand points per year) and annual fee. There are several other categories for redemption at 0.8 cents per point: dining, grocery, gas, Amazon and Whole Foods.
  2. Chase Disney Card PYB at 1 cent per point for: select US Disney locations at Disney Parks & Resorts, US Disney Store and outlet locations, shopDisney.com, DisneyPlus.com, Hulu.com and ESPNPlus.com. Visa Premier can also earn 1 cent per point on airline purchases.
  3. Follow up Marriott Bonvoy Brave Card PYB on airline purchases and Marriott hotel purchases at 0.8 cents per point (up to $750 total per year).
  4. Follow up Southwest (all card versions) PYB 1 cent per point towards coverage of annual fee.
  5. Follow up United (all card versions) PYB for Annual fee (between 1.35 and 1.6 cents per point, depending on the card version). You can also PYB United flight purchases of $50+ at 1 cent per point.
  6. Chase Sapphire preferred PYB 1.1 cents per point for Annual fee and Pet Stores and Veterinary Services at 1.1 cents. There are also select charities at 1.25 cents per point and Public Transit at 1.05 cents per point.
  7. Chase Sapphire Reserve for BusinessChase Sapphire Preferred, Freedom cards and INK cards offer select charities at 1.25 cents per point.
  8. Chase Sapphire Reserve we have covered in a separate dedicated post, includes gas stations and public transit at 1.20 cents per point and the annual fee of 1.25 cents per point. Select Charities 1.5 cents per point.

  • (Update 7/18/25: Aeroplan added select Supermarkets and select Utilities at 0.8 cents per point.)
