The Bank of America Premium Rewards Elite Card offers a $150 lifestyle credit on ‘streaming video services, food delivery, fitness subscriptions and ride-sharing services.’ reader TDD asked if we could create a list of things that do and don’t work for this loan as Premium Rewards $100 travel credit. Recall that we try to add data points to payment workshop as well. The detailed terms state as follows:
Lifestyle loans. You are eligible for a statement credit of up to $150 each calendar year if you make qualifying ridesharing, food delivery, video streaming service and fitness transactions at select merchants. To qualify, you must use your Premium Rewards Elite credit card to pay for all travel, food delivery, video streaming service and fitness transactions. Allow 2-3 weeks from qualifying for the statement loan to post to your account. You are responsible for paying all fees until the statement credit is posted to your account. Your account must be open with active charging privileges at the time the statement credit is met. Qualifying transactions are those purchases made through select retail, food delivery, video streaming service and fitness merchants as determined by us. The merchant must submit charges by the appropriate merchant category code (MCC), industry code, or service or product identifier required to be identified as a qualifying rideshare, food delivery, streaming service, or fitness transaction. Your purchase may not be eligible to receive statement credit if your purchase is processed through a third-party payment account, mobile/wireless card reader, digital wallet not supported by Bank of America, or similar technologies where the technology does not support the transmission of certain identifiers. Eligible ride sharing, food delivery, video streaming service, and fitness transactions that qualify for the Lifestyle Statement Credit must appear under one of the following MCCs and contain the assigned identifier: 4899, 5399, 5411, 5422, 5499, 5691, 57135,58, 58 5818, 5921, 5940, 5964, 5968, 5969, 5999, 7032, 7299, 7372, 7841, 7997 and 7999.
