Avoidance of fees

The easiest account to maintain with no fees is the free checking account with no monthly fees. According to fee schedule there is no fee for early account closure. You also need to open a savings account, and that has a $5 fee if your balance is under $100 (fee waived for the first three months).

Our verdict

Looks like a nice bonus, fingers crossed they aren’t too strict on direct deposit requirements. I will add this to our list of the best bank promotions. As always, please share your data points and experiences with this bank below.
