Update 5/14/26: On the Bonvoy Brilliant card, the new language is gone and the old less restrictive language is back (ht r/credit cards). Bevy still has the new restrictive language.

We saw yesterday American Express increases sign-up bonuses on Marriott credit cards. The new language on personal cards states that:

- (ii) have purchased the Marriott Bonvoy Bountiful Credit Card from Chase, the Marriott Bonvoy Boundless® Credit Card from Chase, the Marriott Bonvoy Bold® Credit Card from Chase in the last 90 days, or

The terms on business cards look the same. It basically means you have to choose between Chase and American Express on these cards.
