(Rumor) Chase Sapphire Reserve to Add $7.50 Off Apple One Subscriptions (Extended Apple TV Benefit)

It appears that Chase is planning to make changes to the Apple TV benefit for the Chase Sapphire Reserve and JP Morgan Reserve personal cards. Chase briefly added language to the Chase Sapphire Reserve card stating the following:

Complimentary Apple TV for Chase Sapphire Reserve and JP Morgan Reserve personal cards: One-time activation on chase.com or the Chase Mobile® app is required by June 22, 2027. You, as the primary card member, will receive at least 12 months of free Apple TV from the date of activation. If you have an active paid Apple TV subscription purchased directly through Apple, your free Apple TV subscription through Chase will automatically suspend your existing subscription. Once your free Apple TV subscription through Chase ends, your paid Apple TV subscription will resume at the current price. If you have an active paid Apple One subscription purchased directly through Apple, after you’ve activated your Apple TV benefit on Chase.com or the Chase Mobile® app with the same Apple account associated with your Apple One billing, you’ll automatically receive a $7.50 discount on your Apple One subscription starting with your next billing period. The Apple One discount is subject to change or cancellation at Apple’s discretion. After your $7.50 Apple One discount ends, your paid Apple One subscription will resume at the current rate. Just one complimentary Apple TV subscription or discounted Apple One per Apple account.

That language has now been removed. In the past, when this has happened, it’s because conditions have gone into production before the change in benefits has been announced.
