American Express has DESIGNATED changes to the Gold Card as part of its 60th anniversary celebration. The changes to the card are as follows:
- The annual fee will remain at $325
- The updated $120 dining credit will include new partners Buffalo Wild Wings & Wonder. Effective July 1, 2026 Goldbelly and Wine.com are removed.
- The card will earn 5x points on prepaid hotel bookings through amextravel.com or the app
- Free Hertz Five Star® status
There will also be limited time Golden Anniversary offers:
- Uber One Membership Credit: Up to $96 cash back when you pay for Uber One using your card. Valid until October 30, 2026. This must be added manually.
- Amex Travel Offers on select properties in the Hotel Collection
- 20% Hilton transfer bonus (This seems to be the same bonus available to everyone?)
- Additional special amex anniversary offers (we’ll do a separate post on these)
