- Customers with an existing Star Plus checking account as of March 31, 2026, are not eligible. Customers who close a Star Plus checking account at any time during the account opening period are not eligible to reopen an account to qualify for this offer. The Star Plus checking account must remain in an open and active status throughout the statement period. If an account remains unfunded for 25 business days, we reserve the right to close that account.

The bonus required a deposit of $25,000 over six months, but it was for $500. Consider this bonus significantly easier and better as there are no high deposit or retention requirements.
