Our verdict
Previously the offers without lifetime language were 60,000 miles + $50 statement credit on the Gold card and lower bonuses on the other two cards. We have never seen that $200 statement credit deal as far as I know. The downside to this offer is the required $1,000 spend at Delta. I imagine many people would just prefer the $75,000 + $50 deal since a single purchase triggers the $50 credit instead of requiring $1,000 in spend.
If you’re on target and have had the card before, then I think each deal is worth it since you usually won’t qualify for the sign-up bonus again (even if you don’t reach the $1,000 in Delta spend required for the $200 bonus). As always read these things everyone should know about American Express if you have any questions. I’m going to create a separate ‘targeted/ymmv’ section of our own best credit card bonus site and adding this bonus there.
